Mini Solares do Brasil
Distributed Generation
About the company
Mini Solares do Brasil (MSB) is a greenfield platform of distributed solar-generation assets under the shared-generation model. As the Strategy’s second investment, MSB combines Kinea’s reputation and financial capacity with the extensive sector expertise of Hy Brazil’s partners. The platform will have 200 MWp of installed capacity of DG I assets based on grid-access assessments developed by Hy Brazil’s partners. Once operational, MSB’s plants will be leased to FIT Energia.

Highways
About the company
Considering the extensive pipeline of highway auctions in Brazil, Way Brasil and Kinea formed a platform to invest in new highway concessions in Brazil’s Central-West region, an area well known to and operated by the group. To date, the platform has secured three new highway concessions: Way 262, Way 364 and Way 153. In addition, the group operates two existing concessions – Way 306 and Way 112 – in which Kinea holds a minority interest.

About the company
The project consists of an administrative public-private partnership with the Government of the State of São Paulo as the grantor. Its purpose is to build and operate 17 schools in the State of São Paulo. Estimated total CAPEX is BRL 1 billion. The concessionaire is responsible for all non-educational services, including facilities, utilities management and IT, while the public authority remains responsible for educational services. Kinea partnered with Engeform to invest in this project.

About the company
The Kinea Equity Infra I Strategy invested in Winity, a high-growth build-to-suit (BTS) platform founded in 2020. The company leases passive telecommunications infrastructure – including towers and rooftop sites – and offers a comprehensive portfolio of BTS, DAS and SLS solutions. Among the company’s key contracts is its agreement with the São Paulo Metro to provide DAS and Wi-Fi services across Lines 1, 2 and 3. The invested capital will be fully allocated to expanding Winity’s asset base.

André Figueira
Head of Kinea Equity Infra
André Figueira joined Kinea Investimentos in 2022 to lead its Infrastructure Private Equity business. From 2015 to 2021, André worked in the infrastructure practice at Pátria Investimentos, while also serving as CFO of Argo Energia from 2016 to 2020. Prior to Pátria, he worked as an Associate in the Investment Banking team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He began his career at Czarnikow Group, a sugar and biofuels trading company. André holds a degree in Business Administration from PUC-Rio and an MBA from London Business School.

Leonardo Gadelha
Investments
Leonardo joined Kinea Investimentos in 2022 as a member of the Infrastructure Private Equity team. From 2016 to 2022, he worked on the Infrastructure team at Pátria Investimentos. During that period, Leonardo participated in the structuring and management of FIPs-IE invested in wind and hydroelectric power-generation companies. He also took part in the initial public offering of Hidrovias do Brasil. Earlier in his career, he was part of the team that won ARTESP’s 2017 auction for Lot D, which led to the creation of the current Entrevias highway concessionaire. Leonardo holds a degree in Aeronautical Mechanical Engineering from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA).

Saulo Gallegos
Investments
Saulo joined Kinea Investimentos in October 2022 as a member of the Infrastructure Private Equity team. From 2020 to 2022, he worked at HIX Capital, first as an intern and subsequently as an Equity Research Analyst covering the oil and gas, logistics and transportation, and sanitation sectors. Prior to HIX, he was an intern at the NBFA law firm, associated with the Spanish firm Garrigues, where he worked on project-finance and mergers-and-acquisitions transactions, as well as strategic litigation matters. Saulo holds a law degree from PUC-SP.

Eduarda Saurin

Eduarda joined Kinea Investimentos in April 2023 as a member of the Infrastructure Private Equity team. Prior to Kinea, she was an Investment Banking intern at Morgan Stanley. In 2021, she was an intern on the Investment Banking team at One Partners. Eduarda holds a degree in Business Administration from Insper Institute of Education and Research.

Bruno joined Kinea Investimentos in 2024 as a member of the Infrastructure Private Equity team. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-EAESP).

Victor Penayo
Investments
Victor joined Kinea Investimentos in October 2025 as a member of the Infrastructure Private Equity team. Prior to Kinea, he was an Investment Banking Analyst at Lazard. Victor holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (Poli-USP).
